CoLAB Education is a nonprofit organization building and supporting innovative schools and educational ecosystems. Our work combines future-ready learning, deep community connection, creative practice, AI integration, and whole-human development.
Founded by Adrian Manuel, CoLAB brings together visionary practitioners, community leaders, and design thinkers to reimagine what schools can be — and to build them.

Inquiry
CoLABers develop a deeply inquisitive mindset — constantly asking, examining, and questioning. They learn to identify biases, unheard voices, and unrepresented perspectives. Critical engagement with knowledge is the foundation of everything.
Design Thinking
Through empathy, ideation, and prototyping, students co-construct solutions to real-world challenges. A deliberate algorithm for turning questions into action and imagination into impact.
Creativity
Students spend real time creating — not just consuming. CoLAB makes space for imagination to flourish, igniting a creative spark that builds self-worth, belief in one's own ideas, and a lifelong cycle of innovation.
Service
Learning is inseparable from community. Students apply knowledge in service of others — co-generating ideas that spark a chain reaction of involvement, action, and expanding community resilience.
Omni Literacy
All four dimensions are held within Omni Literacy — the capacity to read, interpret, create, and communicate across textual, visual, digital, data, cultural, and civic domains. From prompting AI to engaging community leaders, CoLABers are fluent across all of learning's modalities.
